Absolute Dignity is a specialty shop
featuring post breast surgery |
| products.
It is owned and operated by Kathy Dibben
who is a two |
| time
breast cancer survivor. She was
diagnosed the first time in 1990. |
| At
that time she had lumpectomy surgery,
lymph nodes removed, |
| chemotherapy,
and radiation treatments. Twelve years
passed and in |
| 2002
she again heard the diagnosis of breast
cancer. This time |
| surgeons
removed both breasts. |
| |
|
After the bilateral mastectomy, she
found it difficult to find
|
| properly
fitting prosthesis, bras, and most
difficult, swimwear. She |
| decided
this was not right, it should not be
this hard. After years of |
| dreaming
about, planning and finally following
her heart, |
| Absolute
Dignity opened June 4th, 2007. |
| |
|
This store carries breast prosthesis,
pocketed bras, pocketed |
| camisoles
with and without drainage pockets,
lymphedema |
| compression
sleeves, pocketed swimwear, as well as
wigs, soft |
| headwear,
and compression hosiery. |
| |
|
We also fit regular bras or guests may
fit themselves. We have |
| other
lingerie and panties for all women. |
| |
|
Swimsuits are carried year round. The
suits range from tiny |
| bikini's
to beautiful women's suits size 6 to 26. |
| |
|
We have an amazing line of beaded
jewelry, supplied by Beads of |
| Hope. |
| |
|
The vision for this shop is to make
everyone feel special. You will |
| find
an atmosphere of love, compassion, and
hope. As a survivor, |
| Kathy
understands you deserve to be treated
with Absolute Dignity! |
